Mandrake was asked to search for a new head of Marketing. As one of the leaders in the Hospitality industry, there were high expectations for top talent. The company was in a steady state of growth, but felt that they needed to bring in strong leadership with direct category experience. There was a need to identify what the marketplace offered in terms of candidates and who would be the right fit for their organization. It was necessary that the Executive Vice President of Marketing had classical consumer training and understood the dynamics of the Hospitality industry.
The strategy was to construct a North American search of individuals from both the Hospitality and Consumer Goods sectors.
After a successful search of the marketplace, a candidate with both a consumer and hospitality background was identified. The hire had a great sense of the company and brought immediate value. This individual has brought great leadership to the company and was instrumental in building one of Canada’s top Hospitality marketing teams.
