Situation:
With a market cap of $9 billion. our client is a worldwide leader in helping manufacturers with industrial automation control and information solutions. Up until 2005 our client was involved within five distinct verticals worldwide. The sixth vertical was to be the Canadian Oil Sands as it represented the largest opportunity worldwide for the Company, with project visibility up to the President's office.

Approach:
Having successfully helped put together a hybrid sales and engineering sales and services team coast to coast, Mandrake was selected to create the Oil Sands Team, based in Calgary and Edmonton. Mandrake had three geographically disperse stakeholders and was briefed on a number of conference calls.
