Our client, a global leader in the confections industry, was looking for an experienced executive to fill the VP Sales & Customer Marketing role. This individual would be replacing the incumbent, who was relocating within the company outside of Canada. The ideal candidate would be an effective business leader with extensive experience in sales and marketing to senior-level customers, as well as success in managing organizational change. Following a successful tenure in Canada, this person would be available to move on to international opportunities within the company.

We set out to identify talent who could provide best-in-class sales and customer marketing leadership. Targeting candidates within Canada and abroad, we identified individuals who demonstrated sales and marketing success, as well as change management experience.

We were able to find a top performing executive with a 15 year track record of consistent leadership success in strategic planning, sales, and relationship management. With strong customer account management and selling experience in Canada and US, as well as an interest in moving their career internationally within the company, this candidate was an excellent fit for our client. The Vice President successfully transitioned with the company and went on to work through a reorganization of their business.
