Our association with the client developed as the result of a referral from an existing client. The search was confidential in nature and situated in a western Canadian city with few sports marketing executives, making candidate re-location the likely outcome. The successful candidate had a history and passion for the industry, previous experience not only in sports and promotion, but specific to a similar, but smaller organization. His business education and marketing/sales in the areas of sports, entertainment, special events and telecommunication were critical components for developing and managing the organizations; brand strategy, including the implementation of brand marketing campaigns.
