About Lynn

Lynn is a respected recruiter with nearly twenty years experience in executive search. She ran her own successful search firm for a number of years and joined Mandrake in the summer of 2007.

Lynn continually delivers an ability to identify and deliver candidates that add value to her client’s organizations.  She has managed over 600 searches during this time and has honed her craft in a number of sectors.

Her strong suit is mid to senior level search in marketing and communications, both traditional and digital marketing. From Managers to VP’s and everything in between- and across a number of diverse industry sectors, including financial services, healthcare, public and private sector organizations; with a focus on delivering the best candidates available. Lynn also has a knack at expertly managing confidential searches both in the GTA and in other parts of Canada: her ethics being impeccable.

Community service plays a large role in Lynn’s life. An active Rotarian, a committee member of the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation, a current member of the Quinte West Economic and Revitalization Committee, Past Chair, Board of Directors, the Quinte West Medical Centre, and a proud member of The Afghan Memorial Committee.

A strong believer in “you only get out what you put in”, Lynn gives of her time and energy to helping to make a difference on the job and for her community. Lynn is one busy lady.

Married to an advertising ‘creative’ and teacher, she is surrounded by the power of brands and passionate when it comes to marketing and communications.  A CAAP course grad and an agency background in account & project management allow her to speak with both candidates and clients in an informed and focused way.


Lynn applies her search philosophy to every project/search, which is “know your client and their needs well”.  Meet with the hiring manager to determine best cultural fit. She is resolute in obtaining as much information as she can from her clients to build a good brief which enables her to apply a focused, strategic methodology to the search.  This allows her to navigate with precision to identify the best candidates available and as quickly as possible.

On the flip side, she is dogged with her candidates in uncovering all their needs and aspirations as they relate to career.  You need to spend “quality” time to establish the “under the surface” needs that can impact on a successful matching of candidate and client!
